Wally apparently has been hard at work forming a new company to provide “staffing and organizational solutions” that he named Empowered Partners LLC. Congratulations, Wally!
Although we likely won’t know all of Wally’s clients, our visitor mentioned that there may be a conflict of interest because Gilman Schools contracted with the new company to fill a teaching position, with Wally concluding that “contracting through Empowered Partners LLC would be cheaper.”
The Star News doesn’t mention if the Gilman School Board knew of the conflict prior to the execution of the contract.
